Classroom 3

A spacious auditorium used for general instruction. All new shinigami recruits are to report here.

::Kazuki had reported to his main classroom, with his graduation coming up soon. The only thing Kazuki could of done was train what little time he had now so he could walk into his new Division and meet his new team as a true warrior. He didn't want to be weak, and wanteed to know when would he get his Zanpakuto. *That might be the final test to meet your Zanpakuto spirit in order to pass the academy. Kazuki had sat down in a chair thinking of the future and what it could bring. The day was bright and full of many oppurtunites that Kazuki could just take. He ccould train up his kidou so he can have up to a better understanding of his spells. Or he could do what most of the others are doing, nothing.::

Chiaki sprinted towards the auditorium. She was definitely late, and there was no doubt about that. This wasn't her first year at the Academy, and that made her feel all the more embarrassed about being late. As she made her way through the buildings, she went over in her mind how she would plead for forgiveness. I'm so sorry! I was... helping an old lady across the street! No, I can't lie. I'm a terrible liar! I was in the Rukongai and I was visiting with my family and I guess I just lost track of time! Please forgive me! ... No, even the truth sounds so lame! Ugh, what am I going to say? There was no time to lament over lack of a good excuse, as the doors that lead inside the auditorium were now right in front of her. With a big breath of air, she opened the great doors and, looking at the ground, shouted out her apology:

"I am so sorry I'm late! It won't ever happen again!"

There was a strange silence, and as Chiaki looked up she saw why. Either she was early, or she was really late; the auditorium was empty.

::Kazuki was with the other Shinigami's in-training, he was thinking of ditching class since it got so boring, and without a mission or even class starting he would surely die of bordom. Kazuki had got up and walked from the classroom and passed through the long hallway, He was a student of Classroom 3 and not much had went on in their as the teacher were worrying about the strange events in the human world. Kazuki had wounder how the human world would look like, could it truly be all that dangerous that got the teachers and the rest of the Gotie 13 all worked up. It's been 2 months in fact since the event happen to Kazuki turning him into a soul and the person the rest see him as today. Kazuki had no memories of his past all he now knows is that he wanted to become a shinigami and become stronger than anyone in his class, or in his ranks. He passed by the auditorium when the doors were open. He looked inside to spot Chiaki. A girl who was in his class with him, the two didn't talk. But this was becase they didn't bother to know each other. "Chiaki is it? Um...What are you doing in the auditorium? Were suppose to be in the classroom. You do remember what day it is today right?" said Kazuki in a confused tone. Surely Chiaki must remember what day it is today thought Kazuki.::

Chiaki turned around as Kazuki began speaking to her. She recognized his face and voice immediately; she saw him all the time in class, but she could not place his name with his face. She scrunched her face a little, irritated that she could not remember his name while he remembered hers. There was a brief pause as she realized what he had just said to her.

"Wait, what?" she returned the confused glance to her classmate. "Wait, wait, we don't have exams or anything today, right? I'm definitely not ready for anything like that!"

Chiaki did well in most of her classes - enviably well, some might say. She excelled in her kido classes, in both knowledge and execution. Her close combat skills, however, left her wanting. She knew theory and technique well enough on paper, but she had yet to win any sparring matches with her friends or impress any of her teachers with her hand to hand or zanjutsu ability. She often wondered if she would be able to graduate from the Academy in time with her current level of close combat skills.

::Kazuki looked at Chiaki and started to talk. "Yep, today was a hand to hand field test. But our teacher didn't come so the test will postpond to next week. It's gonna be hectic since we've got finials that week as well. If I was you I'll go and train for that test." said Kazuki in a soft tone. With the week almost finished and finials next friday, he to would have to training. Next week is the week he becomes a Shinigami.::

Chiaki ran her hands across her face in dismay.

"Oh no! I completely forgot. Thank goodness it was delayed, but... hand to hand? Oh! I just get so nervous with it."

Chiaki had been a thief in the Rukongai before she became a student at the Academy. She learned to be quick with her hands and even quicker on her feet, but stealing items and fighting were entirely different things. She had never had to fight anyone while she was a thief. In fact, she avoided fights at all costs - even if it meant letting go of stolen loot.

Still, Chiaki wasn't the worst in her class. While she couldn't beat her friends, she hadn't lost every fight she had ever had. She could typically beat those at the bottom of the class. Sometimes she could even beat those who were better than her; it wasn't unusual for someone to underestimate her for her very young appearance.

"Say, I don't suppose you would want to train with me?" she suggested, "I don't think we've ever sparred before."

::Kazuki frozed when Chiaki asked him if he could train her. Kazuki was skilled but for him to show here anything would maybe be the understatment. She knew high level kidou that he did not. But he was skilled in hand to hand. Mainly because of his skills when he was alive. "Funny, but I'm not sure if I should be in the postion to train anyone. I'm good but I don't view myself as a good teacher though. Besides it's strange I started out knowing how do well in hand to hand fights and good at Zanjutsu skills. I'm not sure why though. But if you want to spar, lets spar." said Kazuki in a hype tone.::

The two would suddenly hear a loud female voice shout indignantly from just outside the classroom door.

"DON'T TOUCH ME THERE YOU PERV!!!"

And suddenly an even louder, painful-sounding smacking noise would echo throughout the classroom. A moment later, a boy would walk in cheerfully, a slight smile on his face. His left hand was cupped to his cheek as he began walking up the steps to near where Kazuki and Chiaki were. He sat down in front of them on the row beneath them and turned around to look at the two.

"Ah so you two are in the advanced class as well? Well done!"

At this point Miroku removed his hand from his cheek revealing an angry red mark in the shape of a feminine hand. Seemingly completely ignoring the huge welt on his face Miroku extended his hand to Chiaki for a shake while merely nodding to Kazuki. He'd seen Kazuki around before.

"Looks like we're all early. I heard the guy who teaches this class is a flake. Hello, my name is Keihatsu Miroku. Yours?"

Miroku was smiling throughout the entire exchange despite the huge hand print on his face, which he still seemed to be ignoring.

((There must be an even number of characters here to begin the curriculum, because eventually everyone must be paired up.))

An instructor walks in calmly. He appeared to be middle aged, tall, but a bit portly. Seeing that some students were already seated and talking, in a loud voice he boomed out,

"WELCOME, new recruits! Here you will learn the basics of being a shinigami. My name is Minazo Takinami. I was once the tenth seat of the seventh division! So I KNOW what it is to be a shinigami. From now on, up until the time that you graduate you will undergo an intensive learning curriculem designed to prepare you for what awaits you as you join the Gotei 13. Be warned, it will not be easy. It will take dedication and constant effort! How you perform during this last part of your education will determine what division you are assigned to, AND what seat to which you are assigned!"

After bellowing out that introduction he began looking around the room again, seeing how many were here. The class was not yet full.

"Hmm...seems we're missing some students. WELL, I suppose that means we'll have to wait to move on until they get here. Talk amongst yourselves."

With that he sat down behind the huge desk at the front of the classroom and took a gourd out from a drawer and furtively took a swig out of it. He turned around when he did this so that the student's couldn't see he was drinking...however the smell of sake might waft over to where they were...

[The order is Teller, Me, Stratus and whoever else that comes in.]

As time continued to pass Kenshou eventually walked into the room, his eyes closed and hands in his pockets. He didnt speak to anyone initially. He justed opened his eyes as he walked to his seat. He seemed troubled and he wasnt in the mood to talk to anybody.

~A Hour Prior to Arrving~
"I got your message and came back with everything you asked...How's he doing grandmother?", Kenshou said sweating and semi worried yet still calm and collected. "He's not doing well...but with this medicine he should get better, thank you for going through the trouble of picking it up", the old lady said. "Anything for my real parent figures", Kenshou responded. After working the admisister the medicine to his grandfather Kenshou relized he was late. "You have to go to the academy today, dont you Kenshou?", his grandmother asked. "This is much more important than that", he responded. "No you have to go, I'll take care of him...go", she said. Kenshou looked at her and nodded as he walked off.

~Regular Time~
Kenshou walked to his seat and awaited for the class or session to begin..

The door opened slowly after Kenshou had taken his seat. While various students didn't notice the new entrant the teacher gave the young man a slight nod signaling it was okay for the newest person to enter the room. The noise of his boots hitting the floor caused the whole class to stop what they were doing and look at him.

He wasn't in the standard Shinigami garb, in fact he wasn't even dressed like a shinigami at all making the whole class raise an eyebrow. The chains around his body clinked together as he moved and the bangs across his face concealed his eyes from viewing, however he seemed to know where to go, the farthest seat in the class room, the only seat that wasn't bathed in sunlight. He didn't talk, nor did he look at anyone but the teacher. He had been ordered to sit in the class by the Captain Commander much to the protests from the other captains.

~Earlier~

He had only arrived in Seretei a few moments ago and upon crossing the gates past the enormous guardian he was immediately surrounded by five shinigami. One was of captain class and was there to escort him to the Squad 1 barracks. e spent only a few minutes there before the Captain Commander gave a nod and he was on his way to the Shinigami academy.

~Present~

Clyde was nervous, he was different from them all he could tell and not from his state of dress, something else bothered him about being there, but he wasn't going to voice it. It still called for him but he couldn't identify it. He lowered his head and attempted to sleep.

::Kazuki had stoped talking when he saw everyone come in. He sigh and wonder if class would start now since the classroom was bringing in quite a few new people. Kazuki remembered two of them from his class, the other two were either new to the class or came from a different class. The Teacher was also a new face to Kazuki. He sat down and waited for the teacher intructions.::

((Sipherous be careful of taking control of other people's characters, even if it is just to give your character a nod or an order. The only character's reactions you should be writing about, is your own. The Captain Commander is my character, and for now, so is the teacher of this class. You should leave it to me to give you the go ahead and come into the class, even though I would have anyway.))

When Minazo heard a couple more students walk in he turned around, almost spilling sake down himself. He hid the bottle in a hurry. Slurring his words a bit, he stood up and proclaimed,

"Arright! Time teh get started! We've got a full clash now, soo...um.........that's good right? Of course it is....ANYWAY. Now you guys are here to learn to be big bad Shinimigamimi...yeah....right."

He looked around confusedly for a moment.

"Oh yeah, I guess we should start with the basics. Who here can tell me what Reishi is? What is Reiatsu? What are the similarities and differences between the two?"

The teacher stumbled backwards into the desk, but tried to play it off as if he had meant to sit on top of it.

::Kazuki had got up and started to speak. "Reishi is Spirit Particles. These particles make up all spiritual things of course. This includes the spiritual bodies of the hollows and shinigami. Most importantly Reishi is very important, for we can use it to boost our power, the world with the most Reishi will greatly benefit the person who's asborbing Reishi." said Kazuki. He stoped and looked abround, Kazuki was kinda of a smart ass, but like what the teacher said this is basic. "Reiatsu is the physical force/pressure that a person’s Reiryoku creates when released. The two differences is simple. Reiatsu is internal spiritual power. While Reishi, on the other hand, is external spiritual energy in the form of spirit particles. The similarities is both are spirit energy, and are nesscary to a Shinigami." said Kazuki, he bowed and st down.::
